This New Nike Air Force 1 is Drenched in Italian Sportswear Flair

2022 has, thus far, been the absolute pinnacle for high-fashion/sportswear collaborations. With Dior and Nike set to resume their partnership soon, and the likes of Louis Vuitton and Gucci linking up with the world’s most prolific sportswear brands. Though this new Nike Air Force 1 does not fit under that umbrella, its Italian luxury aesthetic cannot be ignored and in itself is likely influenced by these big name partnerships and repurposed for the brand’s in-line releases.

Although they’re officially linked to adidas, the pair’s colors of cream sail, dark green, and red can easily be correlated to the signature colors of Italian fashion label Gucci; especially considering the retro elements of their new Three Stripe collection. Here, it’s hints of gold and gum that, with the tinted sails throughout, harken back to retro sportswear fits highlighted by said collection. For these, though, you won’t expect a ludicrous price tag; a standard $120 price point will likely be the case.

A release date has not yet been set, but with official looks arriving today, you should expect to see these hit shelves in the coming weeks, with Fall 2022 a likely window for arrival.
