Over the past few years, Nike has shown a penchant for tinkering with the Swoosh, from the Lightning Bolt “World Tour” pack to Travis Scott’s inverted Checks. For 2022, Nike will give their iconic motif a whimsical makeover, with this Nike Air Force 1 Shadow “Ghost Swoosh” the next of a handful of expected designs to sport the playful finish.

Joining an already-revealed Air Force 1 Low, this Shadow returns with the wavy, smiley-faced Swoosh across the midfoot — again with a bevy of surrounding plus and minus motifs, though here the decor arrives in tonal whites. Its surroundings provide much more pigment, with pinks, neon greens, and gradients working in various placements, underlays, and accents. Thick mesh tongues lay between a bevy of cartoony illustrations, highlighted by color-in insoles and heart-shaped dubraes. Though a release date for this ladies-exclusive Nike Air Force 1 Shadow “Ghost Swoosh” is not yet known, it is expected soon — likely to form part of the brand’s Spring lineup.
