The Nike Air Force Max Low to Debut in Two Classy Colorways
Classic and Classy.
Back in 1993, the Nike Air Force Max served as a cutting edge fashion statement by the boldest basketball team to ever hit the NCAA hardwood. Endorsed by Charles Barkley but made famous by the Fab 5, the sneakers were sported with black socks, baggy shorts, and lots of game. This year, the shoe is back with a modern and refined redesign to meet the evolving needs of modern players — whether you’re a perimeter marksman, in-the-paint warrior or swingman.
Maintaining the chunky ’90s vibe and signature midfoot lockdown strap, the low version of the modernized AF Max has removed the shiny plastic heel cup in favor of a more flexible and lightweight leather, paired with a full-length Air Max unit for superb cushioning. Debuting in two colorways, one classic in Black and White, the other Classy, sporting an all-white base, paired with metallic gold accents and luxury-inspired marbleized outsoles. Take in a first look at the debut pairs below, and expect them to land at select Swoosh hoops houses like Finish Line, as well as NDC on June 1st.
