The Air Max 270 Assumes the Iconic AM95’s OG “Neon” Colorway
New meets old.
Nike’s Air Max 270 is not the first to recreate the iconic “Neon” colorway, made notoriously famous by the Air Max 95 OG — nor is it the first Air Max to mimic it this Spring, with a previously revealed Air Max2 Light also taking on the iconic trio of grey, black, and volt. While both pairs deliver a fresh new take on the colorway and don’t replicate the OG’s gradient effect, the color combination is unmistakable — especially when added to a member of the Air Max family.
When it comes to this 270, it starts out with an entire upper built in light grey mesh, paired with glazed on black overlays, matching black textile heel panels and pulls, along with blacked-out midsoles. Eye-popping volt is ushered in quite obviously on the undercarriage and oversized Air units, but it’s also spotted on the branding hits and lace stays.
