Nike’s Air Max 270 React ENG Looks Hella Sleek in “Sapphire”

Nike’s new Air Max 270 React ENG is now getting decked out in a sleek, stealthy “Sapphire” setup — a far cry from the vibrant trio that was unveiled last month. But despite its vast differences in color selection, it will be releasing alongside them next week.

The pair’s reengineered upper ditches the vibrancy for murky blacks, menacing anthracites, and insidious obsidian — the latter only appearing on the collar and tongue — while a striking shade of soft purple pops the lace lock and branding detail. The entire sole unit is murdered out in all-black, save the small strip of obsidian jitting just under the rear Air unit, and the pair is completed with tonal branding hits on the black pulls.
