Just Do It. Has there been any other three-word slogan in advertising history that is as powerful and as motivating (and recognizable) as Nike’s iconic phrase from 1988? The answer is no, which is why the Swoosh doesn’t hesitate to utilize it on their silhouettes from time to time — more recently the epically oversaturated “Just Do It” collection from 2018. Now, the famed slogan returns in a more subtle form on a two-pack of Air Max 270 Reacts, although it is likely that there will be more additions from both this silhouette and other Air Max favorites. First up we have an all-grey offering which only offers up two complementary colors: Orange and Red, both colors used on Nike shoeboxes throughout the years. These colors hit the lateral dual Swoosh branding, forefoot “Just Do It” motif, and instep Air branding hits, The black-based pair is a little more adventurous, sporting an all-over Swoosh print, scattered into triangles, something that’s reminiscent of Nike Soccer’s icon. It comes with blue midsoles, volt accents, and like the grey pair, comes constructed with mesh paneling as opposed to the traditionally-used translucent.
