Splat!
Although it might not feel like it, we’re still pretty early on in the Air Max 720 journey; there’s still a lot of unchartered waters for the silhouette to experiment in. We’ve seen mesh uppers, gradients, prints and classic and all-new colorways, but this is the first time that Nike has added a 90s-styled paint splatter to its newest Air Max signature sneaker — and they’ve done it to great effect.
Sporting a black-on-black base, mesh uppers, overlays, liner, and sole units provide the perfect base for Nike’s Shoebox Orange splatter effect, which covers the entire plastic midfoot piece, Air bubble and Swoosh. Orange also appears on the mini forefoot Swoosh and tongue branding, with light grey making a minor appearance on the side swoosh and tongue, too.
Gran an official look at the Air Max 720 “Paint Splatter” pairing below, which is expected to arrive at select Swoosh stockists and Nike.comin the near future. Keep it locked into HOUSE OF HEAT and our Nike Release Dates page for more updates on the drop, including a confirmed release date and where to secure your pair come release day!
