Intergalactic Nike Air Max 720 “Galaxy” Arriving Soon
Made famous by the infamous All-Star weekend Nike Air Foamposite One back from 2012, the intergalactic aesthetic has graced countless silhouettes over the past eight years without ever managing to lose its cachet. This year alone we’ve seen the theme hit the Air Max 90, a Nike React Presto and a trio of upcoming Nike Hoops releases, and now it graces the equally-out-there Air Max 720.
Here, galaxy prints grace the woven uppers, ranging from deep ominous blues at the silhouette’s superior, with rich reds beneath separated by a streaking white stellar population from toe-to-heel. Translucent Silt Red Air units and midsole placards join the various branding hits and gradient outsoles as the pair’s only other flashes of color, with jet black capping off the design across the tongues, liners, laces, heel pulls and plastic overlays.
Take in an official look at the “Galaxy” Nike Air Max 720 here below, and with pairs already available in Korea, you can expect these special-edition Air Maxes to arrive at select Stateside stockists and Nike.com in the coming weeks. With more info on the pair to follow, make sure you’re tuned into our official Twitter account for updates.
In other Nike news, on-foot looks at the “Triple Black” Nike Air Fear of God 1 have arrived ahead of its expected release this month.
