Available Now // Nike Air Max 720 in Gold and White

New meets old.

When the Air Max 720 landed earlier this year, Nike called upon a handful of nostalgic colorways to build intrigue and to bridge a connection between the lineage’s history, and it’s all-new way-out-there futuristic design language. But now that the dust has settled, we’re starting to see a slew of new inspiration hit the big-bubbled beast, with the likes of this White and Gold rendition beginning to surface.

While the colorway and the design language is new to Nike, this pair opts for a traditional WHITE mesh-based upper — but that’s as far as tradition goes. The futuristic waves throughout the upper are complemented by the sneaker’s abstract plastic silver overlays, each encasing pops of golden tan. The warm hue also arrives on the lacing unit and liner, as well as the midfoot plastics and slightly-tined 720 Air Max unit. Completing the design is an anthracite mini Swoosh on the toe box and heel pulls, and pops of vibrant orange on the tongue and heel pull stitching, with a generous portion of the undercarriage also highlighted in the hue.
