The Nike Air Max 720 Saturn Returns in White

All-Star Weekend’s debut of the head-turning Air Max 720 Saturn sparked some serious debate. But those who know, know that these aren’t made for the mass market — they’re an excellent offering for fashion-forward women with a unique enough style and confidence to pull ’em off. A true sneakerhead can appreciate that, and appreciate a well-made sneaker, even if it’s not to your personal tastes.

But the sophomore colorway might challenge your perceptions, arriving in a crisp white, black and university red mix that will likely please more people than the OG. With the upper and outsole arriving in clean white leather, contrast comes from the racing-inspired high tongue in black, paired with matching laces, and profile criss-cross branding stripes. The sole saturated color on this monochrome kick comes in the form of an outlined red Swoosh on both the medial and lateral sides, with a translucent 720 Air bag completing the design.

The other issue brought up in the leadup to the Air Max 720 Saturn’s debut was its hefty price tag of $200, so it will be interesting to see how this and the proceeding renditions will fare at a market. As for a release, you can expect these to hit the select retailers below on February 23rd.
