First Looks at the “Athletics East” Air Max 90 Collection

Themed packs have been a staple of the Nike Sportswear schedule for years, with annual efforts like the Lunar New Year collections, to one-off packs. Now it seems fitting that after a collection of “Moving Company” sneakers, the Swoosh will trek east for it’s the newest themed collection, with this Air Max 90 “Athletics East” duo the first of several new like-minded sneakers to appear.

The two options arrive in grey and blue hues, though each proffers an entirely different aesthetic. With double-layered mesh uppers, nubuck overlays, and metallic Swooshes, the pair shares more than just the titular brand embellishments found throughout. They differ greatly when it comes to color, with one opting for deep navy and rich royal, the other cool greys and University Blue; Both proffer a bright white midsole complete with “Nike Athletics East” branding in the back.
