Nike Air Max 90 “Atlantic Volt” Celebrates Two OG Air Max 97 Colorways

The Air Max 90 is still running strong in its 33rd cycle of the sun, with Spring 2022 set to showcase the silhouette at its best — but this next-up release looks to pay tribute to the Air Max 97 for its 25th anniversary, with this new Air Max 90 “Atlantic Volt” cross-over colorway expected to hit shelves this Spring.

Just as they did with this cross-over effort on the Air Max 97, Nike seemingly merges two OG colorways into one. Though it’s more obvious on the 97, where the Atlantic Blue/Volt is split down the middle, this Air Max 90 plasterers the mixed OG colors on in no particular way. Instead, you’ll see black mesh uppers and striking volt Air supports that honor the latter, while Atlantic Blue suedes and select pops of grey honor the other. All-in-all, its a homage-packed release that will undoubtedly form part of a wider narrative from Nike this season; you should soon expect to see more models appear in these exact hues.

A release date for this all-new Nike Air Max 90 “Atlantic Volt” is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see pairs hit Nike.com in time for Summer.
