"Nike Revamps Air Max 90 with Vibrant 'Green Strike' Accents"

After a steady stream of understated releases, Nike is ready to bring a sharper edge to the Air Max 90 for Fall 2025. The upcoming “Black/Green Strike” edition stands out with its aggressive contrast, offering a fresh visual energy to the storied silhouette.

This version sticks to the familiar Air Max 90 formula — leather, mesh, and TPU overlays — but it's the color choices that do the heavy lifting. A dominant black upper sets the tone, creating a bold base for the vibrant Green Strike accents. These hits appear at key points across the design, including the Swoosh, eyestays, heel badge, and visible Air unit surrounds. The result is a sharp interplay of dark and electric hues that feels made for cooler months.

The sole unit follows suit with a two-tone mix of white and black through the midsole and a continuation of green into the outsole tread, balancing energy and utility. Traditional branding remains, including the classic Nike Air patch on the heel and tongue, while the visible Max Air unit delivers the same comfort and response the model has been known for since its debut in 1990.

The Nike Air Max 90 “Black/Green Strike” is expected to release Fall 2025 for $130 on Nike.com and at select retailers.
