Joining what is now emerging as a wider Nike Sportswear pack, this new Air Max 90 “Black Neon” continues on from the previously-previewed Air Max 95 of the same name, both of which carry a construction suited for the autumnal climate.

With low light and wet weather in mind, the Swoosh has tooled this Air Max 3 with lightweight ripstop uppers, hardened mudguard overlays, and fully-reflective Swooshes. Utilitarian pulls — which are also reflective — add further oomph to the outdoor-styled aesthetic, but also buy into the retro Air Max lineage along with color-matched Air supports and tongue branding. The mostly-black release is met with tonal greys underfoot, and across the rubberized panels to complete the design.

A release date for this all-new Air Max 90 “Black Neon” is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see pairs hit select stores and Nike.com in the coming months.
