This Nike Air Max 90 Is Ready for Spooky Season

As summer winds down, brands are beginning to prep their seasonal rotations—and Nike appears to be inching toward spooky season early with a stealthy new Air Max 90.

While not an overt Halloween-themed release, the upcoming Nike Air Max 90 “Black/Safety Orange” channels just enough seasonal spirit to hint at October. The pair arrives in a tonal black construction, pairing smooth leather and textured TPU across the upper and mudguard. Swooshes, eyestays, and midsoles also follow suit in black, creating a stealthy, unified look. But it's the pops of safety orange on the tongue label, heel badge, and exposed Air unit that inject a bit of seasonal punch—subtle, but effective.

It’s a clever pivot that avoids gimmick territory while still nodding to the time of year. Expect it to be a versatile rotation option, whether you're embracing fall or just want something a bit more understated with a flash of color.
