Throughout its 30th anniversary celebration, we’ve seen the Air Max 90 run through a wide variety of finishes, from Earth-friendly options to conceptual designs like the recently-released “Archetype”. The next release is not as imaginative as the aforementioned, but it does bring in new materials alongside strong contrast blocking to deliver something that’s fresh whilst also feeling familiar.
Forming part of an upcoming pack that includesthe just-revealed Nike Blazer Mid, the Nike Air Max 90 “Burlap” keeps the white and tan theme rolling with clean white leathers up top and everybody’s favorite gum rubber outsoles underneath. The titular hemp fabrication replaces the silhouette’s signature mesh upper, poking out at the heel and toe in heavy contrast to the aforementioned overlays. Almost everything else arrives in white, save the eyelet and profile branding panels which take on a subtle sail hue, and — consistent with the Blazer — is completed by vivacious pink-lined insoles.
Though a release date did not accompany the official image set below, you should expect to see a rollout of the Nike Air Max 90 “Burlap” hit select retailers alongside the Blazer and perhaps other similarly-designed silhouettes in the coming weeks. So while we await further details, grab a detailed look at the pair here below, and be sure to keep our eyes glued to our official Twitter accountfor updates.
