Nike Air Max 90 “Chlorophyll” Coming in 2020
OG Post 14.12.19 // Following the two-piece Nike Lahaa Escape-inspired pairs, Nike will once again be looking at their catalog of classic for Air Max 90 inspiration, with the Tinker Hatfield-designed Air Trainer 1 lending its most famous colorway to the silhouette.
The Air Max 90 “Chlorophyll” will serve as just one of many homage-filled colorways for the silhouettes’ 30th Anniversary celebration in 2020, with pairs tipped to arrive mid-year. The colorway is no stranger to transition, with the famed white, black and green combo gracing countless Nike sneakers over the years, from the Air Max 1 to last year’s Air Jordan 3.
As of now, we don’t yet have eyes on the sneaker, but our rendering below should give you a good indication of what to expect for next year. More information will surely pour out over the next few weeks, so be sure to keep your eyes locked on our Twitter feed for further updates.
Update 02.06.20 // Official images of the Nike Air Max 90 “Chlorophyll” have landed, sans the use of grey as found on the OG Nike Air Trainer. Still, the resemblance is uncanny, thanks to its sweeping black mudguards and pops of muted green throughout. A release date for the pair is yet to be announced, but with official images live, a Nike.com drop shouldn’t be too far away — keep your eyes locked on our Twitter feed for further updates.
