The 90s sportswear era is one of the most audacious, experimental and avant-garde of any before or after it. Hell, just one look at Andre Agassi below and that will tell you all you need to know; acid wash denim shorts, splatter/brushstroke prints, and vibrant colors were all staple looks of the early 1990s. It’s a theme oft-visited by Nike in its retro lineage as well as on new models like the Tech Challenge 20 and LeBron 16. But in this, the Air Max 90’s 30th anniversary, it’s seemingly the only theme that’s been left unexplored — until now.

Here, the 90s sportswear-inspired sneaker arrives anchored in white wide-woven mesh and leathers. Splatters and strokes of crimson red then splash underneath the black swoosh, matching that of the forward tread, Air unit, and uppermost eyestays. Blue plays well below in complement, while the tongue tag and insole carry over the Agassi-like paintwork in its stride.
