The Air Max 90 Gears Up in Grey, Black and Laser Blue

Ever since the return of the OG Air Max 90 “Laser Blue” in 2020, the color scheme has been running rife through Air Max and — to a lesser extent — Nike Sportswear classics. the tried-and-tested combination of black, grey, white, and blue has been dished up in different proportions, materials, and styles. The next to appear returns home on the Air Max 90, though it boasts an entirely different aesthetic to OG III thanks to simplified blocking and a material twist.

Joining a similarly-styled Nike Air Huarache reviewed in late August, this 90 keeps an identical theme, with solid black sole units hosting tonal grey uppers of suede, mesh, and ridged panels. The Forefoot mini Swoosh returns in white, while profiling Checks opt for stark black leathers. Branding at the tongue and heel are hit with Laser Blue, as too is the lateral Air Max lettering and Air supports seen through the famous clear window.

A release date for this new Air Max 90 is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see pairs hit select stores and Nike.com over the coming weeks.
