The Air Max 90 has been privy to some pretty clean colorways since its fully-fledged 30th anniversary run in 2020, with the trend continuing well into 2021. Now, as we approach the end of the year, it seems there is still no stopping the 90, with a second waffle-mesh makeup in black has appeared mere hours after it’s grey and orange counterpart.
Once again, the pair arrives mostly in tonal, with slight variations in shade occurring between the waffle mesh upper, suede toe overlays, and tumbled leather mudguard. Smokey greys hit the eyestays, brand panels, and Air cassettes before a bright white Swoosh livens things up at the midfoot. Sole units return to black, but it’s lightly livened up by teal-blue supports — a color that’s matched on the upper’s branding pops.
A release date for this new Air Max 90 is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see pairs hit select stores and Nike.com over the coming weeks.
