Nike Prepare the Air Max 90 With Patent Leather Panels

Never seeming to run out of colorways, Tinker Hatfield’s legendary Air Max 90 has just appeared in a brand new scheme — though it’s not as unassuming as the first look above suggests.

Anchored in staple white mesh, the pair leans on tonal leather overlays at the toe and midfoot, with beige eyestays joining color-matched mudguards and black Swooshes at the midfoot. The latter two, though, arrive in a high-gloss patent leather finish, providing the pair with a unique fitting rarely seen on the Air Max 90. From there, a handful of bright red (and much-needed) pops fit out the brand marks and outsole toe, before basic black and white fits out the rest of the sole unit to round out the design.

A release date for this all-new Air Max 90 is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see pairs hit select stores and Nike.com in the coming weeks in kids sizing — and hopefully for adults, too.
