While the Air Max 1and Air Max 97 are reading some huge projects for their respective anniversaries, other Air Max classics have been forging their own path in 2022. One of those who’s staying relevant on their own terms is Tinker’s third Air Max design, with this new Nike Air Max 90 proffering a simple option for the Fall season, with this new grey, black, white, and red arrangement bringing a fresh-yet-familiar theme to the season.
Delivered atop an atypical steely-silver mesh upper, the pair looks to dual black overlays of suede and leather, with light greys returning again at the eyestays, rear, and profile brand panels. The latter two, along with the TPU tongue tag, arrive struck with bright red branding to match that of the colored Air supports. Grey Swooshes at the midfoot feature a patterned finish, while stock-standard white and black finishes are applied to the EVA midsole, Air cassettes, and rubber outsoles underfoot.
Though pairs are already available in Asia and Australia, a US release for this Nike Air Max 90 has not yet been noted. You should expect to see pairs hit select stores and Nike.com soon, but you’ll have to await further details — for that, keep your eyes locked on our official Twitter account. Until then, enjoy a first look at the pair here below.
