Welcomed with open arms when it debuted in early 2022, the Air Max 90 Futura has come on strong with follow-up colorways; the next of which, the Air Max 90 Futura “Cobalt Bliss,” sticks to a simple mix of white, black, and blue hues.
Anchored in “Summit White” mesh, the pair quickly shifts tones with a slew of leather overlays and guards in blues and blacks. The titular “Cobalt Blue” dresses the Swoosh, while the midfoot and eyestays prefer “Light Photo Blue.” Black mudguards are reminiscent of the OG Air Max 90 designs from 1990, while a contemporary all-white midsole/cassette combo rests directly underneath. All of this comes together on a tri-tone rubber outsole underfoot.
