Nike Air Max 90 Golf “Back Home” Celebrates the British Open’s 150th Anniversary

Nike Golf will continue looking inward to the sport’s biggest events, with their next Nike Air Max 90 Golf “Back Home” celebrating the official birthplace of golf, St Andrews, and this month’s 150th British Open.

From the 10th to the 17th of July, all eyes will be on the Scottish links, as the best players in the world will once again battle it out on one of the globe’s most unforgiving courses. Though always struck with tradition, Nike’s new Air Max 90 Golf “Back Home” is anything but customary, with striking color palettes influenced by the brand’s ACG division — it even has the Hike Nike Man playfully illustrated on the insoles. Drawing back to St Andrew’s, the pair is clad with decorative thistle detail in several placements, from the lateral ankle to the tonal Swoosh stitching, as well as the tongue and vamp. Lastly, the pair is finished off by a more-traditional golf attire on the pattern liners and tan leather mudguards.
