Nike Golf will continue looking inward to the PGA’s events, with their next Nike Air Max 90 Golf “Surf and Turf” celebrating a pocket of the country that the tour knows well: Maine.

As you’d expect from the name, the pair is a direct reference to the water-riding courses and the state’s main export of cold-water lobsters. Said inspiration is evident in the red and blue overlays that denote the common and rare colors of crustaceans — it even goes as far as dressing the mudguard with water droplets. All of this rests atop a simple white mesh upper, with tonal liners, laces, and midsoles providing a summery base shoe. Rear pulls of red and white match the rear panels below, with the pair finished off by mint green outsoles and Air cassettes, and a Swoosh-shaped lobster decorating the orange box hangtag.
