First Looks // Nike Air Max 90 “Green Glow”

It’s always a pleasant time of year in late February, a time when sneaker brands begin to unveil their softly-hued releases for Spring. Easter palettes and lightly saturated colors bring an overwhelming sense of anticipation for much warmer weather — something we’re all looking forward to. But it’s not all soft and safe, with the occasional striking, stark black and white banger surfacing from time to time. This new Nike Air Max 90 “Green Glow” is one of those, pairing the aforementioned white and black with the titular mint hue for a classic take on the classic trainer.

Bright white ripstop uppers, eyestays, and midsoles and juxtaposed by jet black nubuck and hardened overlays, with Air cassettes, outsoles, liners, and laces following suit. The titular Green Glow gears the Swooshes, Air supports, and outsole toe to complete the design.

Though a drop date for the Nike Air Max 90 “Green Glow” has not yet been confirmed, you should expect to see pairs rolling out at select Swoosh stockists soon.
