The Nike Air Max 90 Appears in Grey, Black and Aqua

Legends of Japanese streetwear atmos created such an impact with their iconic Air Max 1, that whenever Nike throws together a release anchored in black, white, grey, and aqua, that it cannot escape the atmos moniker. though we’re not going to title these the Air Max 90 “atmos” — we can’t help but draw a reminiscent memory of the famed release, despite arriving in vastly different proportions, materials, and blocking.

Regardless, the vibe is there, with light grey mesh uppers, supple suedes of a significantly darker shade, and textured leather mudguards of bone. Blacks fill out the Air cassettes and outsoles, while bright white midsoles set the pair up for its first pop of color — aqua — on the stowed Air supports. That color is then spotted on the exterior, with profile and heel branding delivered in the bright blue hue. It’s found one last time on the interior, with tongue liners and insoles dyed in color-=match aqua to complete the design.

Though a drop date for this new Nike Air Max 90 has not yet been confirmed, you should expect to see pairs rolling out at select Swoosh stockists soon.
