The Air Max 90 has been privy to some pretty clean colorways since its fully-fledged 30th anniversary run in 2020, with the trend continuing well into 2021. Now, as we approach the end of the year, it seems there is still no stopping the 90, with this new grey and orange arrangement that ostensibly nods to the famous grey and orange Nike shoeboxes of yesteryear.
The pair arrives mostly in grey hues, with a waffle mesh upper in cool grey, tonal suede overlays, and a slightly darker tint along the later mudguard. Smokey greys hit the eyestays, brand panels, and Air cassettes before a bright white Swoosh livens things up at the midfoot. Sole units also work through several shades of grey, but it’s brightened by vibrant orange Air supports — a color that reappears on select branding hits up top to complete the design.
A release date for this new Air Max 90 is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see pairs hit select stores and Nike.com over the coming weeks.
