With the weather soon turning towards rain, hail, and sleet, Nikeis retooling its classic silhouettes to best fit the season. This new Air Max 90 “Kumquat” is just one of these, as it looks to ripstop and leather tooling to try and prevent unwanted water from weeding its way into the interior.

Here, uppers and tongues of golden-yellow ripstop host jet black leather overlays and eyestays and pops of white along the laces, lateral brand panel, and midsole. Black and yellow return again at the midfoot Swoosh, rear branding, and Air cassette, with black Air supports and two-tone rubber outsoles rounding out the design.

A release date for this all-new Air Max 90 “Kumquat” is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see pairs hit select stores and Nike.com in the coming months.
