The Air Max lineage has been privy to some pretty clean collective colorways over the years, this year focused heavily on including the anniversary Air Max 90. And just before the silhouette turns 31, Nike has slotted it into year another thematic pack — this time matching up with the previously-previewed “Light Bone” Air Max 97.
Arriving with an identical palette, the pair presents in white mesh, with overlays of the titular hue in leather and suede. Eyelets, rear overlays, ankle brand panels, Air cassettes, and outsoles all follow suit, while white returns at the midsole, liner, laces, and tongue. Sitting prominently at the midfoot is a jet black leather Swoosh — a color that returns again at the rear branding and Air supports — and the pair is capped off with Nike’s heritage orange hue on the tongue and insole branding.
Though a release date did not accompany the official image set below, you should expect to see a rollout of the Nike Air Max 90 “Light Bone” hit select retailers alongside the Air Max 97 and perhaps other similarly-designed silhouettes in the coming weeks. So while we await further details, grab a detailed look at the pair here below and be sure to keep our eyes glued to our official Twitter accountfor updates.
