The humble Air Max 90 has been on a tear since its 30th-anniversary celebration kicked off early last year, and despite the fact that the party’s long gone, there are no sure signs of a hangover. The sneaker has powered on into 2021 with countless new colorways from the bold and the beautiful, to the simple and tonal. This next-up Air Max 90 “Malt” arrives somewhere in between, with a beautiful brown leather construct countered by bold black and blue hits.

Here, black mesh uppers arrive encased in overlays of Malt, Taupe Haze, and Beige, the latter arriving in a textured finish across the pair’s notable mudguard. Matching black tongues, liners, laces, and heel overlays anchor the top half, before bright white midsoles, black air cassettes, and beige Air supports arrive underfoot to complete the design.
