The Air Max 90 has been through the wringer, with Nike’s design team flat-out exploiting the silhouette over the past few years through countless themed, overbranded, and Venn diagram-donning releases. Through it all, the silhouette has always found a strong line back to its heritage, with more than enough OG-homaged pairs filling up shelves over the past half-decade or more. The next to appear once again looks to its origins — in more ways than one.

Arriving as part of a wider reflective retro logo pack this Air Max 90 dons the collection’s overarching white, grey, black, and volt hues. Again it’s white that provides the bulk, with mesh uppers, leather overlays, and midsoles giving the sneaker a bright aura. Add to that some select pops of neon green at the Swooshes, laces, Nike Air branding and Air supports for vibrance and surrounding accents of jet black for good measure. Completing the design are reflective mudguards filled to the brim with retro Nike Air Max logos from over the years.
