Though it’s obvious that Nike is unwavering in its approach to bold, new options of the anniversary Air Max 90, usually through color, its often its most reserved releases that bring about the most intrigue. What releases like this new Snakeskin Swoosh Air Max 90 omits in terms of color, it makes up for in other ways, namely its restricted design, muted palates, and its adventure into textured textile.

Elegance is exuded through uppers of clean whites and soft grey overlays, with further flashes of neutral nudes at the toe tip and tongue tag. The pair’s champion is its use of light tan Snakeskin at the Swoosh sets and rear overlays, though even they remain understated. Al white midsoles come in to complete the design, but not before reintroducing bone blocking at the Air cassette and outsole.
