Nike’s Move to Zero initiative has explored many pathways, from the wildly-ugly Space Hippie lineage to the recent run Next Nature Dunk Lows. Also new this year was Nike’s Terrascape collection, a series that looks to overhaul classic trainers with redesigns and renewable materials. So far, we’ve seen both the Air Max Plus and Air Max 90 in retooled designs, but it’s the latter that has been picking up the most steam, with colorway after colorway coming to the fore — and it’s just popped up again, with this Nike Air Max 90 Terrascape “Obsidian” appearing today.
Aside from a handful of clay-tinted toolings, the pair arrives in a bevy of blue hies, from Thunder Blue textile uppers to navy blue overlays, and bright Marina Blue Swooshes and upper eyestays. It’s met with black laces and mudguards, before the aforementioned clay colors in the lower eyestay, heel overlays, and Crater Foam-filled midsole to complete the design.
