Nike Adds Subtle Tones and Textures to the Air Max 90 “Triple Black”

The everyman’s Triple Black colorway returns to the Air Max 90 this season, this time with a fresh new twist.

Typically built in all-leather, this year’s release relies on multi-mesh, textured synthetics, and nubucks — each of which proffers a unique contrasting finish. This gifts each panel more distinction, as clearly evident at the toe and mudguard. More subtle changes in texture and tone occur around the Swoosh and collar, but are still distinct enough to give the pair more character than a typical Triple Black Air Max 90. Completing the design — and staying true to the Triple Black title — is black-out branding at the tongue, heel, and insoles, and a completely murdered-out sole unit beneath.

A release date for this new “Triple Black” Nike Air Max 90 is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see pairs hit select stores and Nike.com over the coming weeks.
