The Nike Air Max 95 “3 Lions” Channels England’s World Cup Kit

With the FIFA World Cup mere moments away, Nike is preparing a slew of Tiempos, Phantoms, and Mercurials for the occasion — as well as a specially-themed “Social F.C.” collection that celebrates the world game at the local level. For its next celebratory creation, Nike is looking top-level, with this Air Max Plus “3 Lions,” a licensed product served in conjunction with the governing body of English football.

Rocking all-white duds, the pair is a perfect match for the English World Cup strip, with gradient Navy-to-Blue Void detailing down the profile to match the Pom’s shoulder detail. Pops of red are included, too, as well as a “3 Lions” lateral tag and insole design — though one would think the actual direction of the Three Lions would be more fitting. All of this comes together on a pure white midsole — filled with Blue Void Air supports — and a solid navy rubber outsole.
