Fall footwear season is in full swing, and the Air Max 95 is leading the charge, with countless autumnal arrangements on the cards. The next to appear is this all-new Nike Air Max 95 “Black/Elemental Gold” and as the title suggests, it brings with it a fall-friendly palette of black and earthy browns amongst a pair constructed in varying textiles.

The mostly-black release relies upon only a few instances of color contrast, with the titular tan-gold hue hitting the liners, uppermost overlay, and eyestays, whilst greys and whites at the tongue/heel reflective and Swoosh branding complete the color deviations. But what it lacks in color contrast, it makes up for in textual contradiction, with netting, smooth leathers, shaggy suedes, and sashiko-style stitched panels along the profile to create deviation. All of this rests atop a murdered-out sole unit, save a splash of Elemental Gold on the outsole.
