Despite not celebrating an anniversary of any major significance, Nike still has a blueprint for 1995’s Air Max model this year, with the next part of that plan revealed today with this Air Max 95 “Dark Beetroot”
Delivered with OG releases in mind, the pair boasts simple monochrome construction, with each overlay working along the profile from white mesh, to black nubucks, to a blacked-out sole unit beneath. Twisting the OG Neon blocking, the pair replaces the green hue with the titular burgundy, while other notable tweaks include black jersey mesh uppers and contrast-stitched toes. The outsole, like the ankle Swoosh and insoles, is split between black and beetroot to complete the design.
A release date for this all-new Air Max 95 “Dark Beetroot” is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see pairs hit select stores and Nike.com over the coming months.
