Nike Air Max 95 “Kiss My Airs” is Coming Soon

Before Nike officially launched their “Kiss My Airs” campaign for Air Max Day 2017, it had been a long-running pun/saying amongst sneakerheads throughout the world, hitting countless bootleg t-shirts, apparel, and even doormats. It was refreshing to see Nike put a little bit more tongue-in-cheek into their marketing efforts, which have been pretty dry since the days of the OG Presto. Now, just four years later, the brand looks to revisit the expression with a special-edition “Kiss My Airs” Air Max 95 — likely again to form part of the annual celebration of Air.

Here we see the pair ostensibly honor the OG Neon, with a similar palette of grey, black and bright greens throughout — but it also tips its hat to another classic Air-laden sneaker. A quick inspection of the toe and uppermost overlay reveals a safari-like print that’s almost definitely a homage to Tinker Hatfirle’ds OG Nike Air Safari. Obve that, you’ll find jet black mesh and netting, while below you’ll find paneling working down the spectrum of greys to arrive at a mid-table hue at its lowest point. A striking Hot Lime midsole serves up the pair’s most visually striking feature, and the pair is capped off with a jet black outsole beneath.

A release date for the Nike Air Max 95 “Kiss My Airs” is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see pairs hit select stores and Nike.com over the coming weeks, and if it is, in fact, a part of Nike’s annual Air Max Day celebration, you should expect to see a release arrive around March.
