Nike Gets Earth-Friendly on this Air Max 95 NRG “Vast Grey”
Nike’s Move to Zero initiative is gaining some intense momentum as we head into Fall, with countless Grind Rubber-loaded releases joining the marquee recycled lines in the Space Hippie, VaporMax 2020, and Zoom Air Jordan 1s. Next up is an Earth-friendly Air Max 95, one which closely aligns to the upcoming “Lemon Wash” Nike Dunk Low in that it sports uppers made of what appears to be recycled and naturally-dyed fabrications.
Here, chambray-grey uppers are overlayed with a quartet of muted textiles in plum, teal, olive, and rust, before being met at the toe and tongue by a deep grey. Crisp whites come into play along the flat laces, rear panel, and midsole — the latter two hit with Barely Volt accentuations upon the Air supports and branding respectively. Completing the design is a baby blue rubber outsole, and volt insole, both flecked with a grind rubber finish — once again akin to the aforementioned Dunk.
A release date for this Earth-friendly Nike Air Max 95 NRG has not yet been set, but with official images landing here today, you can expect to see these hit Nike.com in the very near future.
