Nike Air Max 95 “Social FC” Celebrates the World Game

With the FIFA World Cup mere months away, Nike is undoubtedly preparing a slew of Tiempos, Phantoms, and Mercurials for the occasion. But it appears that the brand will put in an equal effort to the off-field footwear, too, with a wider series of Sportswear classics expected to celebrate the world game. This new Nike Air Max 95 “Social FC” is one such release, joining a previously-previewed Air Max Plus in theme.

Aside from the pair’s specially-crafted motifs at the tongue and insole, there’s not much else that connects this release to football; perhaps the profile camo-like prints are reminiscent of late-80s soccer kits if you want to dig that far back. Color-wise, the hues are set in bones, beiges and browns, with a streak of blood-red at the medial profile overlay to add a little flair.
