Nike Air Max 97 “Hemp” Arrives August 19

The 25th anniversary of the Air Max 97is starting to take shape, with a slew of new offerings coming to the fore as we enter the second half of the year. For its next release, Nike will dig deep into the archives as it will issue a brand-new Air Max 97 “Hemp” to release alongside the retro of 2004’s Air Max 1 of the same name.
Playing on the same cues as the Air Max 1, the Air Max 97 is issued with a neutral woven hemp upper, with leather overlays that graduate fro, from tonal bone to light mocha suede mudguards. Creamy hues can also be seen across the tongue, with pulls of Medium Brown working in unison with the aforementioned guards. The Air supports follow the same path, while white midsoles and pink-popped gum rubber outsoles round out the design.
A release date for this brand-new Nike Air Max 97 “Hemp” is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see pairs hit select stores and Nike.com this August.
