The City is no stranger to homage paid in full, with countless releases from sneaker brands confessing their appreciation and love for the Big Apple. And now you can add one more to that ever-growing adoration list, with this Air Max 98 “NYC” pledging its allegiance to the Empire City.

And what better way to tribute the city than Navy pinstripes on grey uppers? The Bronx Bombers theme features heavily once again, this time paired up with quick flashes of pinks on the Swooshes, mudguard contrast stitching heel detail and outsole hits. Grey nubuck uppers and overlays pair up with navy leathers, with the mudguard featuring a secondary pinstripe finish in UV-gloss. Stark white midsoles come filled with navy support shanks, with a tri-colored outsole wrapping the unit. Capping of the pair are special cursive “NYC” branding adorns the tongues and insoles to complete the design.
