Another “Windbreaker” Air Max 98 Surfaces in Warriors Colors

The Air Max “Windbreaker” Pack has welcomed vibrant 90s colors, unique materials, and all-new branding hits for almost every Air Max in Nike’s rotation. Headlined by the duo of Air Max 1s, the pack went on to hit silhouettes like the Air Max 720, Air Max 95 and the Air Max 98. Now, another edition of the latter has surfaced, and it takes on the pack’s recurring Warriors color theme.

Seen on the Air Max 1 and Air Max2 Light, the White/University Gold/Game Royal makeup returns to the Air Max 98 Windbreaker series with the pair you see below. Sporting a distinctly-blocked makeup, the pair opts for all yellow on the ripstop tongues, uppers, and overlays, stark whites on the protruding leather overlays and sole unit, and a vivid Game Royal on the smooth leather mudguard. Keeping with the pack’s theme, oversized Nike Air branding hits the insoles, and garment-styled tongue tags complete the retro look.

While these official shots are of the ladies pair, the pack has consistently dropped colorways for both men and women, so expect both to be arriving at select Swoosh stockists and Nike.com over the coming weeks. In fact, there’s already a “Cosmic Clay” Air Max 98 Windbreaker already available on Nike.com — so it could happen very, very soon.
