2022 has been a big, big year for the Nike Air Max Penny 1, with big-name collaborations and OG re-runs of the “Orlando” and “Home” colorways coming in hot. Now you can add another original release to that list, with the Nike Air Max Penny 1 “All-Star” aka “Game Royal” returning to shelves later this year.
Worn by Penny during the 1996 NBA All-Star Game, this blackout version of the design set few variances towards Hardaway’s Orlando Magic. You’ll note pinstripe tongues that nod to Orlando’s throwback jerseys while trimming of Game Royal at the midfoot and heel Air support add a little more. Midfoot Swooshes and heel 1 Cent branding arrive in white to break up the bleak black nubuck uppers and murdered-out soles beneath to round out the design.
