After spending two decades in the shadows, Nike is coming in hot with multiple colorways of the reintroduced retro the Nike Air Max Plus 2. Perhaps ahead of its time upon first release, Nike is banking on a big second coming for the silhouette — so brace yourselves for the onslaught of drops coming to hopefully excite old heads but also draw a new fanbase
This latest announcement brings a monochrome addition to the lineup and will be an easy choice for anyone’s daily rotation. The full mesh upper boasts a grey to black gradient that provides the perfect foundation for the black suede toe cap, black leather partial lace stays, black to white gradient wavey lines, and strategically placed highly reflective 3M hits. Underfoot and continuing the monochromatic theme is a two-tone black and white midsole unit that’s framed with a rubber outer sole. Completing the design is the subtle swoosh and TN branding located on the tongue and heel.
