Nike Air Max Plus Returns in Striking White-to-Red Gradient for Summer 2025

The Nike Air Max Plus has long been a symbol of bold design, from its aggressive lines to its signature gradient finishes and deep-rooted connections with street culture. Designed by Sean McDowell and inspired by a vivid dusk skyline, the silhouette revolutionized mainstream sneakers by introducing gradient uppers to the market. Over the years, it has been the canvas for some of Nike’s most daring iterations, and the upcoming release is no exception.

This new version blends a familiar Nike palette with striking visual contrast. The mesh upper transitions from clean white to a rich red gradient, creating an intense backdrop that is echoed in the midfoot shank. The fiery hues are juxtaposed against jet-black vein overlays, mudguards, and a sturdy black sole unit, giving the design an ominous edge. Further enhancing the look are red-tinted Air units and nubuck-tipped tongues, while classic TN branding ties the whole design together.
