It seems that this recycled woolen fiber is the flavor of the month, with Nikedelivering countless options of Air Max and Air Force 1 options featuring the textile. This time it’s the Air Max Plus that dons the repurposed fabrication in two ways, and it’s joined by the Swoosh’s grind rubber sole units for good measure.
Once again — like a solid portion of recent Air Max leaks this week — this pair is equipped with recycled fibers, seen here on the upper and tongue tips in a marbled dark grey. Its offset against striking whites and blacks respectively. Like the just-previewed Air Max 95s, accents of red and electric green filter through the pair’s stitching, midfoot shanks, and Air supports, white brand-less paneling in the rear, and vibrant neon sole units remain consistent with the overarching theme. To up the pair’s sustainability, Nike has completed the designs with embroidered finishes to the cage overlays, midfoot Swooshes, and tongue branding.
We’re still waiting for an official release date from our sources, but it’s expected to launch in the coming weeks fromNike.comand select Swoosh retailers. In the meantime, check out the official images below and tune into House of Heat on Twitter for all future Nike news and updates.
