Nike’s Air Max Plus Continues Its Run with Summer-Ready Makeover
Nearly three decades after its debut, the Nike Air Max Plus shows no signs of slowing. From its cult status in Melbourne to iconic streetwear relevance in Paris, the Sean McDowell-designed silhouette continues to thrive—its recent popularity only amplified by high-profile pitch appearances on the feet of Vini Jr. and Kylian Mbappé in football boot form.
Inline releases have kept pace with the renewed attention, and Nike is rolling out yet another bold addition to the roster just in time for summer.
This upcoming colorway stands out with a yellow-to-white gradient mesh upper, radiating energy from toe to tongue. The upper is framed by solid black overlays, laces, and liners, giving the pair a structured and aggressive aesthetic. A minor hit of muted purple appears on the lateral mini Swoosh, offering a subtle contrast. Underfoot, a yellow-tinted shank plate and visible Air supports in a matching hue round out the look, keeping the theme consistent from top to bottom.
This new Nike Air Max Plus will hit Nike.com and select retailers in Summer 2025.
