Who would've known that Sean McDowell's running-informed Nike Air Max Plus design from 1998 would end up becoming a golf shoe?
Ahead of the Fall 2025 season, the Swoosh's 18-hole-obsessed cohort has borrowed the 27-year-old model again, outfitting it in two makeovers ready for the green. "Voltage Purple" and "Black/Metallic Silver" further expand the Air Max model's time as a spike-less golf shoe. All the aesthetics that've made McDowell's design a street-classic appear on the performance update, although the darker of the two pairs opts for a leather base instead of mesh. "Total Orange"-colored branding lands on the profiles and tongues, further nodding to Nike heritage.
Underfoot, the road-informed tread is retooled to provide reliable grip on the golf course. Tuned Air units reprise their roles, delivering responsive cushioning.
Enjoy official photos of Nike Golf's Air Max Plus duo ahead. Pairs should launch via Nike.com by November for $195 each.
